Rep. Frank Iler appointed to N.C. Tourism and Travel Board

RALEIGH, N.C. — State Representative Frank Iler was recently appointed to the N.C. Tourism and Travel Board by House Speaker Tim Moore.

“Tourism is a key economic driver, both statewide and here in Brunswick County, and I’m honored to serve in this role for such a critical industry,” said Representative Iler. “I’m grateful to Speaker Moore for entrusting me with this responsibility and to the staff at Visit North Carolina for their continued dedication and work to advance our state’s tourism industry.”

Representative Iler’s term on the board began immediately following his appointment on September 12 and expires August 31, 2026.

Frank Iler represents District 17, which covers southwestern and northern Brunswick County, in the N.C. House of Representatives. He is an Eagle Scout, was active in the N.C. Jaycees, and serves on the Brunswick Community College Board of Trustees. He lived in Oak Island for 20 years before relocating to the Calabash area in 2019.
