Rep. Frank Iler attends events throughout Brunswick County

Over the past week I have attended a number of functions throughout the district.

Last Wednesday, I attended the grand opening and ribbon cutting of the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office’s new northern Brunswick County substation in Brunswick Forest.  Keeping our communities and schools safe is one of the most important functions of government, and I was pleased to be able to attend this event.

On Thursday, I visited the Juvenile Crime Prevention Council at the invitation of its Chairman, Bud Thorsen, who is also Chairman of the Brunswick County Board of Education.

That night, I attended the Brunswick County Republican Party executive committee meeting at the county GOP headquarters in Bolivia.  As a past chairman of the Brunswick County GOP, I was glad to see a large crowd of enthusiastic conservatives in attendance.

Yesterday I attended a luncheon held by the Brunswick County Association of Realtors and learned more about the issues and challenges facing the Real Estate community.  That night, I attended the inaugural meeting of the brand-new Oak Island Conservatives’ club.

As your State Representative, I am making a concerted effort to meet with citizens throughout Brunswick County and hear their concerns.  If you know of an event that I should attend, please send me a message using our online contact form.
